how much more info do you want ? you wanted a custom made rollcage for a mk2 hes your man if you want one unless you go german and buy a wiechers one

Spot on i reckon, i have one fitted in mine i got one after seeing one in Caged old Mk2

Do you want a "show" or "go" cage ?

 

What are they like to fit?, the "go" ones I mean

 

A cross between the two really. i'd like it to stiffen the ride of the car, but also to look trick. something with the front side impact door bars ( like the ones you see in touring cars with the square plate in the middle where the poles cross )

by the way - is your bonnet a different colour to your car, or am i just not seeing the pic properly

The bonnet is made of kelvar hence the different colour

 

a cage and bonnet like that would be great.

i would prefer it with door bars though.

how much did that lot set you back?

 

i have found someone who can build me a roll cage that i can afford

can anyone suggest a good cage design?

i'd like a cross between a 'show' and 'go' cage. including front side impact bars and somewhere to attatch harnesses.
