mk2 vr6 engine mount???HELP??

    today i have finaly put me emgine in me mk2 but came across a small problem the engine is sitting to hight for the bonet to shut. i have use the mk3 rear engine bed with the mk2 front engine bed. has any 1 got any ideas what bits i can use so it sitts down a bit???

    You need to cut down the front mount the metal that bolts to the engine/box, to get some clearance. Or get hold of a corrado front crossmember

    So when using the rado front cross member that means you don't have to cut down the mount. Correct?

    I am lead to believe so yes,I should hope so anyway as I will find out in a couple of weeks. When i fit my mates vr

    ill go hunting for 1 tomorrow i need a rad anyhow thanks for your help, ill let you know now if it works when i fine 1
