    well managed to get it washed today, so why it was nice got a pic
    of it in it's new trim

    Amazing how different a car can look with new wheels and trim, I did like the red stripe grill and bumpers though the car still looks great :thumbup:

    Looks fresher now, prefer GTi styling on the whole but without the side mouldings or stripes the GTI bumpers and grille looked out of place. This is a more cohesive look

    Si are you sure you haven't sprayed it black over the winter? Hehe. Just the funny angle and no light you took the photo in.

    Looks pretty darned smart mate.

    Love the car mate but the GTi trim was better for an old school man like me, I'll come and say hello at Ultimate Dubs if you're there.

    yep will be there, have new rims for the show and a new looking engine bay,

    you will find me on the Club Gti Merchandise Stand this year.

    Glad to see the new looking is splitting the masses.

    Wanted it to look like a GL or CL, just need to find the money to pay for the chrome window trims now.

    personally i think the chrome strip grill and bumpers work better.. nicer contrast against the colour of your car..... you're new wheels suck though :lol:

    Got my new rear lights sorted now, came from the depths of my garage, :lol:
    had a quick clean and they are mint for lights that came off a 20 year old motor.

    there just what i needed to finish the CL look off
