right heres a question. i have got an obd2 engine and now im looking for a wiring loom and ecu. is it possible to have the engine run without a transponder and key off a mk3 three? neil
convert it to obd1. change the inlet manifold, throttle bodie and plastic inlet pipe which supports the idle stabilistion valve, which you will also need. then you can use obd1 ecu and wiring loom without the transponder and coded key. you may also need the early maf if the obd1 wiring loom you get supports the 6 pin maf housing
