I have just purchased my first golf gti an N reg 2.0 8v with just under 60k on the clock and full service history which i am pleased as punch with!! the car at the moment is totally standard and had the centre and back box replaced just before it's last m.o.t so no point changing them just yet, also after reading about the cone filters i have been put off them so my question is this.... is it worth up grading the pads and discs at all and if so what would you recommend??
