is there any guides of how to move your battery to the boot on a mk3 vr6 . im thinking bmw battery cable. any advice welcome si
I used a BMW cable (5 series) it all goes to the starter motor now instead of the pos term in the engine bay,"P" clipped the cable to the car along with a good rubber gromet where it goes through the bulk-head. All easy enough but i'm not sure about a weight saving when you feel the weight of the cable its self,i HAD to do it for mine as a boost hose got in the way and it does move a little weight further back though. I can leave the car for a month though & it still starts 1st time mind.
