    Hi,

Does anyone know how to reset the miles on the milometer on a Mk3 golf. Its the digital one and there must be a way of clearing the memory by shorting a couple of pins somewhere.

    Any suggestions?

Only people who can do it are stealerships using ODB port. They will only do it for a genuine reason and your gonna have to provide proof of why you want it knocked back. Or you could just buy new clocks.

    no there isn't

the mileage is stored in a EEPROM chip along with other setting for the instrument panel.

as the others said it has to be done either via the OBD port or by manually reprogramming the chip.
