One option you have is to get hold of headlamp switch (pulls out twice for front fogs), lighting loom for headlamps which includes fogs,indicators and swap it over. Then just fitting replacement fog kit, crystal ones are nice.
The existing loom will have the connection from the switch to the connector at the front of the engine (above the radiator) The foglight kit should have the extra wire to get you from that connector to the fogs. If you only have a single position headlight switch (one LED, one pullout notch), then you'll need a new switch (65 from VAG, 55 from GSF/ECP, 15 from ebay). The new switch just plugs in. If you don't want to spend that money, then you need to put in your own front foglight switch (somewhere) and run the wiring to it. Simon.
