hi i just recentley put a 2.0 agg block in my mk2 golf use the 1.8 head ect.
i now wonna use the mk3 clocks as i have the 2.0l gear box and sender and my mk2 clocks are ****ed anyway.

the loom from the mk3 clocks has the same plug as the mk2 but when i plug the mk3 clocks in the clocks go nuts lol then i noticed that the wirein was a lil difrent lol.

does any one have any idears or now how to get them to work??

Is it a 1990 onwards one? I'll hazard a guess and say you need a jumper between D8 & E2 on the fusebox.

need to use the mk3 gti clock loom, as you say its not 100% the same. also as above need a jumper between D8 & E2. then need to rejig wiring a bit as the indicator warning light wiring is a little different, have a read of my fusebox faq

bit o wire, you'll need to find some with the right terminals on each end and pop them into the fb plugs. may need to get 2 ends and solder together or something though! if D8 has a wire in already could splice to that

I just tested mine with a bit of random wire then put a proper piece in with 2 proper pins on each end.
