I have a custom made Blueflame stainless steel exhaust on my 8Valve and its very good indeed. Fitted at the factory. Nosier than standard but not excessively so. One of the things that drew me to Blueflame being that they had one of the smallest set of round polished stainless steel rear pipes for the MK3, at around 65mm (each) measured from the outside edge. It doesn't look too boy racer-ish and not far from OEM size. Fitted five years ago and has caused zero problems so far. It was close call between this and the Miltek though. Some pix...
