MK3 GTi Bigger brakes

    My AGG 8v currently has 288 brakes on it at the moment, what's available for upgrading now I'm running 17's?

    5x100 stud pattern and relatively cheap if not heavy

    Will the caliper carriers be ok or will they need modding

    Adey,

    You'll be able to keep same calipers. But will need to buy new caliper carriers off a 312mm setup and obviously 312 discs.

    When fitting two 6mm washers will be be required between the hub and caliper carrier to correct the offset
