    just a quickie.... A mate is looking for a cheap sleeper GTI , for every day use , what model or year does the Mk3 GTI have the 16v ABF engine? Cheers all.

    All MK3 GTI 16v's were ABF, as far as im aware.

    sorry to hyjack, but im interested im a mk3 16v myself.

    whats the simplest way to tell that the car is a 16v and not just the 8v with a badge stuck on it,
