The Lowest They Go Down I Believe Is a 1.4

 

I think they might do a 1.4 cos they do a mk3 golf 1.4. If its the insurnace you have problems with then you might be better with a 1.9 TDI 90.

 

iam only 17.so it will be a first car. i want a mk3 golf and it cheap to insure. but i would like a jetta or a vento better.

 

my mate had his mk3 golf TDI 90 at 17 and insured it ok. I;d get that block in the vento because the petrol will be quite pricy. theyre not bad on performance either, my 1.4 will out accel my mates up to about 65 then he flys past me. Plus you get better economy and cheaper tax i believe?

Never seen a 1.4 for sale but I've seen 1.6 & above

 

will the cost to insure a jetta/vento be different to a golf mk3?

 

Should be less as its a Saloon & will be classed as a family car
