MK3 Key on and VW/Audi flip key?

    Finally got myself a vw flip key, now currently on my 3rd mk2 key (10 in copies!!) and still haven't got it to fit right [:x]

    search, keyless vw
    avaliable to anywhere,
    and bada bing bada boom, poo loads........in the usa, will ship world wide and there like 5 bucks :thumbup:

    I want to get remote central locking on my Mk3...do you think its possible to get the remote stuck in the the flip key?

    dunno not sure, it would be cool though. i did think about it. i tryed gettin one off eb#y but every key i bid on i got beat by the same guy. He's buying up all the spare keys for all different models and gettin em well cheap like 15 bucks. Any way i read the feedback for the sellers and alot of them were complaining about the remotes not workin or not being able to re program them. dunno if you would be able to just put yr circuit in [:s]

    Ive got a Mk3 anyway so i dont need to worry about reprogramming it. As long as it flips im happy!

    got it sussed,
    the blade is in, it rubs a little but a little bit of work on the edge with some fine sandpaper and it flips out a treat :)

    anyone got any ideas how toi shoehorn in the transponder chip ?
    or do i glue it to the ignition barrel,
    could always mount it in a keyring like the old toad imobilisers [:s]

    50 for a Mercedes key LOL! You can get hundreds, with VW logos, for like 5 on American ebay.
