The runners are closer together on the MK3. You have to do a bit of cutting and rewelding to get them to fit.
if you have got access to oxy-aceteline burner it is pretty easy, you just need to bend each leg in a touch but make sure you do the same on each side or your seat will end up on the p***! 'cough' so ive heard 'cough'!
