Thanks for posting ive looked through your build and we seem to have done similar mods .we have decided on 20vt engine as i have aquired 3 up to now and 2 16v boxes with shifters .if you do cadwell you cannot be far from us in lincoln .well done on your build bud
Just took delivery of a mk4 20 vt runs lovely no smoke at all car in very good condition seems a shame to rip it to bits for doner but has to be done
If you are at a loose end on the 12-13th Dec take a look at thunder in the park at donington 150 for 2 days
At the mo car stripped of everything that weights anything madmanmart .polycarb windows next. 12th and 13th sounds fun will pop down adey
^^ Best way is to get a pax lap in a similar car to see what is possible and how that car will match your own expectations.
Sound deadening on floors, sealant inside wings, if you have a cage roof bracing. All unused brackets can be drilled out with a spot weld drill. Cut out the spare wheel well and bolt in a piece of carbon. Bonnet frame to leave skin. List is endless. Best to do a thread and experienced members can share advice with you
Thanks for your input pascal some things i hadn't thought of like the strengtheners wheelwell and underseal bud. Bloody core plugs went due to being stood they are a bugger to get to lol
Can someone let me know what engine mountings they have used to put 20vt into mk3.I have 8v in at mo and putting in agu with o2a box
