I had a corrado rad and hoses on my car with the VR engine but I've just got bargain on some Golf VR6 samco's.

Would I just have to modify the rad support panel to allow me to use the bigger rad and Golf hoses?

i actually mounted my mk3 rad in front of the rad surport, word of advice, be carefull about your choice of fans as my first arrangement ended up resting on the 24v dipstic

Did you make some brackets to hold it up?

Is this the right size for a Golf VR6 rad:

you can see the brackets to hold the top of the rad to the slam panel in the pic below, i also made a couple of simple l brackets to hold the bottom of the rad to the front x-member

I choped the front cross panel and rewelded a flat section and sat a mk4 v6 40mm alloy radiator in. Sits in the exact place at the correct height too.
