This one's not for me, as i'm stuck with the old 1.3 carb, but its for my family member looking into getting a mk4 1.8t 150hp version.

Basically, what are the problems known as all i get told is that they had ignition problems, but surely there are more common things to look out for?

Ideally, it'll be awesome if you guys could compile a list of what to look for when buying a mk4 1.8T and what are the common problems to be aware of in terms of parts replaced, as a mk4 1.8t are a little more complicated than a mk2!

Leak in NSR inner panel/roof, just before the water for the washer jet go though into the boot hatch, indicatored by low/no squirting pressure!! then a wet patch

cure: reconnect pipes! (click to fit)
