mk4 20vt question?

what turbo does the mk4 20vt use? ive got a monster hybrid Garret TB28 from own developments and i was hoping to fit it

 

depends on model, but typically a KKK KO3 or KO3s.

 

not sure on the engine code but its a 1999/T

 

That will be an AGU with the smaller K03.

 

hmm, so what are my options on turbo's and ecu's or can i map the current one to handle the new turbo? can i use the Garret TB28 ??

not sure about your garret(others might know e.g. HTC), but a generic remap should give you roughly 200hp. ALternative option is to kit the later ko3s(bolt on more or less) or the bigger Ko4-more parts needed tho.

just buy a pure stroke of luck, a garret manifold and external wastegate have cropped up, so im now 450 lighter will i need to change the ecu now? seems as i'll be running well over 200bhp?

what other parts will i need??????
