Mk4 gold TDI fault code

    Hi there, i wondered if anyone might be able to help me read a fault code on a mk4 golf TDI. The glow plug light is flashing and i was wanting to find out what had happened. Im in the north-east near middlesbrough if any kind soul could help me out please.

    I would start by checking if the brake lights work, very common for the brake light switch to fail or both brake light bulbs blow which brings on the coil light.

    How queer...never knew they did that...

    If the brake lights check out ok, then your looking two or more failed glow plugs. You don't get an indication when one plug goes down, because it can cope with three (in fact the TDIs are pretty good at starting without the glow plugs, but its good to have them all working nonetheless)
