mk4 golf rear caliper - modification to help unstick handbrake

I already have alloy rear mk4 calipers on mine and got handbrake issues with the MOT saying it has restricted free movement? It's just the one side though that failed. I've ordered these return springs to help for winter freeze.

    The answer is no [8(]

Has anyone been able to get these springs from the Sharan lately?

    - Tried ordering a set of these from my local dealer today and they said something about them being order prohibited - are they still available?

Same here I tried and they said no.

Only springs I've found are of a similar design is vauxhall springs but they are about 7 each on the bay :o

I need a set of these too so if you have any luck let me know

We used to reto fit these to mk4 calipers to stop them humming back when they were new. I'm sure they were on 3B passats and 9n polos as well.
