Mk5 golf 1.6 fsi warning light

For a friend.

Has the warning light on the dash which is yellow, shaped like a sun with a yellow exclamation mark in the middle?

What does this refer to?

bulb warning light, one of the bulbs has blown

likley to be one of the outer rear side lights (inc stop light), single filment/offset

If she goes a VW dealer they will only charge for the bulb - zero Labour as per VW policy for free fitting on bulbs

yep rear bulb, she got shafted at halfruads 7 to fit, tight

 

the bulb is more expensive than a normal (old) twin fitments, VW should be less the 5 !
