    face lift mk5!

    The mk5 was to dear to build due to complex rear suspension and bespoke parts.

    BMW had the same problem with the mk1 mini

    Exactly, more like a facelift, a backstreet one which has gone wrong!!!

    Yummy. Torn between facelift Mk5/6 or Scirocco for next car in around 2 years. Doh!!!! Might just can both ideas and get an S3 instead. lol.

    Prefer the look of the Mk5 to be honest. It is good looking though.
    For the sake of cosmetic changes and 10bhp, If i wanted new, i would just wait for an Mk5, when the 6's come out and the prices fall.

    Mk5 had tartan fabric too...;)



    I reckon it looks quite good. Certainly much better than the base model, but then that`s always the case.

    VW are excelling themselves at making dull cars, Scirocco excepted.

    they have even gone back to the old seat design similar to my mk2! lol
