MKI Throttle Cable Problems - the Solution!

    a common fault is the link from the cable pulling out from the pedal, usually because the cable is stiff, and it may also have bent the right angled connection, which is only held in by a grommety- thing. I got my little garage to look at it and they lubricated the cable ( I couldn't work out how to release it from the engine) and then drilled a hole and put a split pin in for good measure. I'd post a pic if I can remember how - this forum seems very complicated for doing that as I recall.:)
