MKIV CD Changer

    I've just bought a cd changer for my 1999 Golf 1.8T - I think I heard somewhere that the CD lead is pre-wired

    Is this true?

    why would they spend extra money that they dont need to?

    I did the same thing...... Bought a CD changer for my dads mk 4 TDI, just assumed the CD changer cable would already be in place.

    I was wrong, nothing in place.

    Sorry but its more than likely yours is the same. [:^(]
