Picked it up earlier as well, played through some of the single player,but had other things to do, so won't be playing it for 2 weeks

Its great! Had a few hours last night and its so smooth and the guns are amazing. One problem is that it wont allow party chat when you are playing hardcore. You have to use game chat which sounds terrible and also everyone else can hear you. When it comes to the end of the game and you can speak with everyone in the server its just a free-for-all with the C word and being accused of camping. Sort it out...
So... it's good then? I read a lot of people saying it's "just MW2 with some new maps", I think I'm 'over' first person shooters, I fired up MW2 the other day after months of not touching it, was bored after a few mins. What's it like for sniping in multiplayer?
2 Different games really. I play BF3 on the PC and find it hard (I play hardcore). Far too much going off in BF3. Loads of explosions and i get bored with it quickly too. With MW3 its kinda the same but less explosions (More than black-ops though). Its a pick-up and put-down game. Short rounds of 7500 tickets and i could play for hours. Much better perks and stuff though. Remote control machine gun robot!
I had both BF2 & MW2 and enjoyed them both as they have different appeals. I just think the maps on BF3 are too tight making it very difficult to have a good match. They seem more suited to MW type gaming. Or maybe I'm just seriously crap at it Gurds
Agree, The maps on MW3 are quite good too! Still learning them but a good mix of streets, Jungle etc. No firing range though, Loved that map!

battlefield 3 maps are twice and some 3times the size of MW2-3 maps its a superior game comparing the two is like comparing Forza 4 and need for speed if you want real war and a top quality team based shooter play BF3 if you want laggey hosted server game arcade shooter play MW3

Can't get a game, just finished single player, whacked it on multi and just won't find a game, over 5 minutes now. had a little go on mp last night, not good trying to start 2 weeks after it was released, although I do have skills, not a lot can make up for map knowledge! had to play private games to figure out maps
