On saturday night some ar*ehole decided to stick a crowbar in me door, pull up the lock and nick me stereo. [IMG]
They took: 2x sony xplod 15's (but pulled the terminal blocks off so they are pretty useless) 1x toxic 1500 watt 2 channel amp, my sunglasses and my brothers wallet. They broke the false floor and neons to get the big amp out.
They didnt manage to get the headunit but they broke it trying to get it out and the changer was left on the floor broken.
we reckon they got disturbed cos they left a load of stuff behind that they had laid out to take.

I just wished they had shorted the terminals on the cap and got a nice big shock.
police have been and fingerprinted but all were gloved except on the headunit but that could have been me, they are coming to fingerprint me to eliminate me tonight.

the door is about 8 inches away from the rest of the car at the top so i reckon it might be written off, if so ill buy it back and repair it meself. The stereo should all be covered by insurance. ive decided to sell the bootbuild and floor out boot, just keep the little amp, 4 mids and tweeters and get a new headunit and possibly an active sub, o yeah, and an alarm.

i dont really care about the value of the stuff they took, its the fact i had worked me a*se off all summer to pay for it and my brother and i and worked our a*ses of to fit it.

ill post pics, crime number etc when i get them.

    will

i feel for you, and with all the damage.

i had ice and everything, i sold it didnt want people following me for the stuff. its to risky have things like ice(sadly[:^(]), i used to back the boot into a way so no entrance that way, along with a decent alarm.

Has the car got an alarm fitted to it??

as long as u got ice insurance your ok.

hope they rot in hell[xx(][xx(][xx(][xx(] W**nkers

uv marking is using a uv pen to write ur postcode or fone number or summit on stuff. when the police recover stolen goods they check it with a uv light, this pen mrking then shows up biut doesnt in normal light. its not really preventative but can help recovery of stuff.

my stuff was as stealth as possible, i had a standard parcel shelf and nothing on show, they just must have heard it at some point or known about it.

ive been told by security installers , dont stick stickers of the the

sorry to hear that. and theres me thinking ive got problems at the
moment... ive used special security screws on my amps and sub and
ive chained the box to the bodywork of the car. It probably wont stop
somone from nicking but it will make there job a lot harder.
