Indeed Mim 1900 - loved the look of them but one was a bit bent and it always annoyed me, (I couldnt find a replancement anywhere). I also found the car drives a lot nicer on the standard width RA's.

Thanks for the compliments Neil - its actually a somewhat scruffy example when close up but ive decided to stick with it and ploughed too much money into it in the last year on body repairs (got side swiped by a lorry) and new springs/shocks/bushes to sell up now!

    Cheers

    Dan

They suit the car down to the ground. One of the best looking small bumper Mk2s I've seen aswell.

    Thats the one - http://www.clubgti.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=205129 [8(]

The car does annoy me at times but its got character! I do miss the look of it without the red trims and on the mims - might have to seek out another set![8D]

I really like what you've done to your monza Toyotec, it must be damn good fun to drive around. I want to get some ronal LS or maybe ronal turbos on it soon. Just at uni atm so its off the road until i get back for the summer break.

Ah yes Neil the electric regs gave up I had two manual regs in the shed and it was the summer. The looms are still in there and the switches are behind the console, just need to get round to purchasing a pair of electric regs and switch the consoles back.

Yeah Dan I had a helios one before this, it was perfect other than a slight rust issue. I only ever listen to the radio and the cassette box is just for that retro kind of feel. I have some old school cassettes in there, its great when people ask what it is and i open the draws of retroness.

Thanks Dan. It is a beauty, it puts a smile on my face everytime I go in the garage & uncover it (which is not very often - it only did 50 miles last year). You forget how nice a colour Monza blue is!

There is another monza 16v golf in my area which I've seen a few times lately but I don't think the owner is on here. It's a D reg, lowered on alloys which I don't recognise, looks in nice condition.
