I recently got my car back after a conversion mk3 20v
its only got 186ft/lbs looking at other 1.8t this seems quite low.

    Any suggestions?

is it on emerald? if so they have to map it on the conservative side, cos of it being a simple system not really designed for turbos. So you would have to spend longer on the rollers to get it right, which they obviously didn't

plus emerald charge a flat fee of 200, so as long as it runs 'it's alright jack'

A 150 gets an 'inferior' turbo.

your v5 should have been updated with the new engine number, that'll save you sticking your head in the oily bits

Have a word with Darren @ VW Enterprises, he's had some good results using Emerald, over 220 lb/ft torque on a standard 150 unit.

I remember he mentioned something about using the default Lotus Elise map which gives great results.
