Multiple sata drives.

    I have a 500gb sata drive and a dvdrom in my computer,

    there are no other ports for sata cables on the mobo.

    can i get/use a double sata cable so i can add another hdd?

    i think my current sata drive has no jumpers on it, is this correct

    That's what you need chap, and if you buy one from Hong Kong it'll be mega cheap too. :)

    Yes, PCI Sata card is what you need as above.
    No jumpers on sata drives, It works out the OS partition itself.

    looking for a card to suit my desktop but its a slim line thing requiring half height cards.

    I can't imagine there are only two sata ports on your board. Download cpu-z and get the board make and model, and let's see.

    Acer are about as unhelpfull as I've seen a manufacturer website.

    But with it being small form factor, I'm guessing it's only got 2. Lid off time methinks! :)
