Just had a call from wayne at chipwizards, was a very long and time consuming job but it's done!

He was very impressed with it and that means allot to me as he gets allot of special cars through his workshop

Audi made massive 460 bhp, rev limit set at 7800 rpm

Boost comes on at around 4-4.5k and according to wayne just wants to rev!

Had it hitting limiter in top and doing 189 mph!!!:o

If it's right from cold in the morning and no more work required i will be collecting it tmrw

    Cant wait!

Big thanks to wayne, top fella:clap:

I'd be looking for a different box - how often will you be doing 189mph? I'd prefer the acceleration rather than top speed. Feckin nice numbers though!

Every time its quiet on M55 near blackpool may take it for a spirited run;)

Its a rare 5 speed box and it suits cars power rev range, each change takes you bang on into power band and doesnt go off boost, according to wayne

I have actually bought a 6 speed box but was told by my mate who built the car not to use it as i wont gain anything, top speed works out exactly the same

Just collected the car, must say i am very impressed

Very drivable to the point it feels like a normal shoping car, obviously up until it comes on boost

Than it just revs and revs, like it allot:)

    Peak torque is 397 lb/ft

Have got the printout but no scanner so i will try and photograph the graph and post it up that way

It feels slower and flater now than it did prior to remapping, but as wayne explained it was overboosting quite a bit as soon as it came on boost, he dialed it out now, but i have extra rev range to play with now so just got to get used it i guess

Max boost is only 1.7 bar

Sounds good Sam - look forward to seeing it sometime, seeing as some of the prep was posted up at one point. Looked interesting, definitely.

Only question would be what brakes it has - with the weight, it'll aggravate any middle of the road set I would think - or is it not getting tracked?

It will deffo get on to the track, just need to make rear adjustable arms first so i can set susp geometry properly

It has Brembo 4 pots with 320mm discs so brakes should be up to it

Best thing is the weight as it only weighs 1240 kg with half a tank of fuel

Sounds good - just get the best pads in there you can. Cerametallics are probably a good bet, unless you have then already. Worth a word with Bill.

Not a bad weight, thought it would be more.
