It's just a standard 8V, to be honest I wasn't sure of the wheels either, I bought them originally planning to paint the centres black, them then thought I'll fit them to see what they're like, now they've sort of stuck.

Car looks good, wheels look odd! Black or silver centres would sort it out!

Thing is though they are different, how many other dubs have you seen with red centred RSs? Also they match my new red Pumas!

The reason you dont see people with red wheel centres in because it looks sh*t. [xx(]
Different does not necessarily mean better.

I quite like it 'in a way' if u had a red surround grill it might make them look better.
    Just a thought:)

Car is looking sweet, and just think if everyone liked the same thing in this world it would be very boring and everyone would be driving the same car.

I think it looks not too bad :)

There is a slight difference between a 911 RS and an 8v Golf though.
Was only commenting on the wheels anyway.

Ah Sprintstar my good man, been waiting for this moment since you sl*gged my RSL's :o

Nah just joking dude, it actually looks pretty good, if you said you were running red wheels, and there was no picture it would sound pish, but when you see it, it works quite well. If you do change the colour, go for anthracite centres :)

    Car looks good too!

haha Al! Saw your name at the preview of this topic and expected a proper slating, suprised at your nice words, appreciate it. If I remember rightly I was only talking about your ride height at the time, nothing against your rims on the 40.

And coullstar course the 911 is different from a mk2, I never suggested otherwise, I just had to respond to the red wheels are sh1t comment.

I think it's a bit of a love or hate it thing with the red, I only ever put them on to begin with for a bit of a laugh before I painted them, now I'm at the point where I've never been happier with how my car looks, that's all that matters to me really.

Never buy Eibach springs if you want a lowish car!

    Hi guys

I don't like the red wheels either. But who cares, if you like it that's all that matters :)

A lot of people probably don't like the colour of my car (I do).
