The knob controlling the heater fan has fallen off my MK2 and been lost in the assorted grime and Crap on the floor of my Golf, can you still get these from dealers, I was bloody frozen on the way in to work today!!

would it not be easier to just find it? give you an excuse to clean the inside of the car? I have the same problem - while changing a instrument bulb on the rocco I managed to ping off one of my heater sliders into the car somewhere and it's lost in all the bits and pieces that are floating around inside the car...

I've been debating cleaning her for ages now, I'm currently missing: Oakleys, Box of CD's Two nice pens and the rather pointles remote for my Radio. It's not as bad as it's sounds it's just too bloody cold to be messing about outside at the mo.

Oh!! :o I missed rubbish in the first post.

Damn you car sounds like a mess!!

I take it the passenger footwell is the dustbin for Maccy D's bag etc.

The inside of my car is always clean. I still lose things in there though...

It's not realy all that bad, it's just a bit of a workhorse at the mo because I'm Company Car-less, the passenger footwell's curently fulla can's of de-icer, and empty diet coke bottles, but for a small Car it's got hundreds of little hiding places.

Oh yeah I've found my Knob, it was stuck between the drivers seat and the handle for recling it, sneaky little bugger.
