What does the 120 or 180 treadwear refer to? 120 or 180 what? Something to do with depth of tread or hardness of rubber maybe??

 

Hardness, but from what I have read previously there is no industry standard so it is only any use comparing tyres of the same brand. The price looks good but I won't be 'sticking my neck out' until iv read some reviews / feedback V's 888 or RSR's.

 

R888s are Treadwear 100 in GG compound, IIRC.

Any idea if those are +VAT or Inc VAT prices?

 

Think those are inclusive of VAT but il check and report back

You Guys need to be checking the sidewall constructions of these.

 

Have you got any experience of them Mike, or do you just mean that as general advice.

 

Just general advice on specific Track tyres. I doubt they have stiff proper sidewalls which affect performance massively.

 

Yep fair point - bound to. Maybe it's a serious attempt to break into that market - just like Toyo did a few years ago?

 

The above prices do include VAT

 

Scott or anybody got any feed back on these, would be looking to use on track/sprint days. Seem to be good value but would spend a little more if performance isn't great.
