What did you use on the manifold?

 

Lots of Elbow grease by the looks of it

as paul sez, lots of elbow grease started with the dremmel, then went to 80 grit alu oxide paper, then 240 wet+dry, then 400, then 600 then 800 then 1200 then 1500 then polish, and it took me 3 week-ends worth of rubbing alltogether. well worth it. oh and 2 blisters on my finger tips(not good when you have to work on a computer )

just noticed something wrong with thi picture, bottom left corner where the wing connects to headlamp braket! there's a bolt missing!! arrgghh
