Need to ask about strange plug and fitting???

Presume its a sensor of some sort,I will take a crack nigel and say its linked to the MFA?? if not I will wait for the clever chaps on here lol ,wires on it appear to be one white /red and the other is white/brown,cheers.

 

Ok sorry for the double pic,tired and a bit slack,seems it is an ambient sensor,can someone confirm and tell me where it fits...was hanging loose ha ha.

 

External air temp for the mfa , it goes into a hole near the front of the chassis leg.

 

As above. Sometimes slotted into rear of bumper bar.

 

Woke up and checked on the web ,apparently it fits into the front guard,funny because I removed that for painting and found it had been off before,don't know why the guard had been removed as I found no repairs,someone hadn't plugged the sensor back in.
