New 17" Wheels for Mk3

Hi All,

Had my GTI Mk 3 for a few months now and i am looking to fit some 17" wheels to it. I have been looking around and wondered what the best size Tires to have on the fitment. 205/45/17 or 215/45/17.

Any idea whats the ideal size.

 

i thought it was 205/40/17 but i might be wrong

ok thanks. 205/40/17 it is then. You aware of any spacers required for the front wheels. My local motor spares shop is telling me the incorrect details.

Get the right offset in the first place. Having said that, when I rang Wolfrace for another set of spigot rings they told me that their system said there may be some scrubbage on the rears.

 

You need ET 35

 

Don't use your local motor spares shop if they don't know what they are doing! There's plenty of specialists about!
