I have a Clifford alarm fitted to my VR(by previous owner) and it hasn`t gave me trouble apart from one time but as it was easily traced through self diagnostic function it was quickly sorted by myself.

Toad Ai606 would be my choice, reasonably priced and a good system

i used to be that pro lol, i was a VSIB approved fitter when i was in a Merc dealership then i left the trade 3 years ago to purssue other interests lol, now back in the trade and a new car coming, first mod is CAT 1 install, im excellent with auto electrics so no probs there, just need some better fitting instructions than the ones i have lol

    Cheers
