Anyone own one?? What are they like?? Assuming you can REVO them?

My brother has a chance of one of these as a company car but will be at the expense of his 2.2 Prelude VTEC...I think he wants something to mirror what the Honda is all about.. i.e He wants something quick & a decent drive rather than soft, saggy & loaded with toys..

Here is his shortlist of cars...

    1. Polo Sport TDi 130 PD
    2. MG TF 1.8i (135)
    3.Audi A3 2.0 TDi
    4. New Beetle 1.8T
    5. Honda Civic 2.0 Type S
    6. Honda Accord 2.2 CDTi

What do you all think?? I have said I think the Polo would be ace, especially "tweaked" but obviously im a bit biased.. ;)

Is the Audi really that good to drive?? Depends if they can be remapped too...Im sure anything under 150BHP wont interest him when push comes to shove.. ;)

Revo claim a 130 PD motor will climb to 170BHP when remapped, so surely that must equal big grins in a little Polo? :)

Has he given birth to a girraffe recently?:lol::lol:

The Accord is swift for an 'executive' diesel, whilst the Civic will be
    fun with 160bhp(iirc), from a 2l instead of a screaming 1.6.

    But yes, Audi!

If he's looking at the Polo PD130 then you might as well look at the Fabia vRS and Ibiza Tdi Sport, same car different badge/shape - lots of those chipped.

The chipping would be on the quiet of course, & with the option to switch back to a standard map...

Seems that the 130 Polo is fairly new... & yet the VRS Skoda & TDI Sport Ibiza are not available to him.. [:s]

The Audi is 140bhp Standard so should be good for at least 170bhp with a revo.
And as a car is far superior to the Polo.

Plus it's a brand new design as uposed to the 3 year old Polo design... Which knowing Volkswagen and Polo's will be facelifted farely soon...

I would've thought the Audi would be more tuneable seeing as it's the newer 16v diesel engine. It certainly has shed loads of torque, 235LbFt as standard I think.
