4th and 5th used during the runs trying to balance load and manic wheelspin. (6spd)
no WI plumbed in yet. new tank and partial piping done but I've not had time to finish it yet.

internally gated, but I think its on the extreme limit. More power then external gated would be needed with this type exhuast housing. My previous exhaust housing had slightly smaller ported wastegate and did suffer boost creep. (wg open 5krpm and 30+psi boost still) - now its controlled ok, but I think its on the edge of what it can flow.

external is a real space issue tho... in an ibiza.. [:s]

It probably does m8 or a standalone ecu which has that built in....
    Hmmmmm time to think

running apexi avc-r to control boost, gives me gear limited boost 1st thru 4th if req'd which should help starts, and 2 user settings for actual boost and off (actuator pressure.)

1bar off, 1.6bar low and 2.2bar high currently.

A selection of these parts allow me to push it to where its at currently.
This setup below is bound for a customer mk4 golf along with stronger forged internals obviously

And people say that internal are not good for no more that 250bhp, good on you bill for showing every one that you can achieve more 250bhp through a internal.

Can't wait to see that on the qrt should see early 11s maybe 10s

How comes it only has a top speed of 133mph? Is this down to the gearing?

That's the max speed in the gear used on the dyno run, usually 4th. Could be 5th..

I've seen Bil's car do 159 mph at Brunters.

500 + is an amazing achievement, how much has that 330bhp set you back?

to do it again, knowing what works from what does'nt, it would cost me a lot less, but still a lot of mula..

rods and pistons in motor, rebore to 83mm (on mine), largeport head (ported), special valves and springs, bigger injectors, intake, MAF, FMIC, equal length mani, DP, hybrid turbo & decent mapping to suit.

presuming engine has had internals, 1600 for mani & DP, 1300 turbo, 280 injectors, plus sundries and +450bhp potential

    *rough* guide

fpr is back on 3bar now, was 4bar on old injectors (620's)
    now 3bar on 750's Genesis

fuel pump(s) are'nt std fitment no.
S3 in tank, and Golf Mk1 GTi one as secondary.

Not been an issue since fitted Oct 2005.

Cheers for that, did you find a difference between 4bar and 620's vs 3bar and 750's?

yes, 750cc injectors are bigger than 620cc (620 @ 4bar not 3bar)) was my conclusion..

    lol

I had to fit 750's as my new intake mani and 75mm t'body proved I was too small in the injector dept on duty cycle left in them.

750's and all is well again remapped to suit
