Its not terrible. Is understated compared to Mk4. was expecting a more aggressive and more powerful machine. Just have to wait for the reviews. EVO's take on it.
This is the better car for looks and although maybe a little scetchy in the widow making dept i think vxr have done a great job.... the golf is too plain and doesnt show its the real deal. my choice.. Edited by: Kingsley
Ive got loads of customers waiting to see pics of that, i'll have to ring them all up and show them tomorrow Im going to ask for one as a company car
That looks boring. And for 23k it's 50BHP short and 200kgs (I'll bet) off the competition. I'm sure it'll be very comfortable and have good residual values....
I just remembered, my boss had his mk5 gti chipped the other week, and its now putting out 250bhp Will most definitely be quicker than the R32 too.
the seats are nice, not sure on it tho, but i wasnt sure about the mk5 anyway it will prob grow on me
Lovely in silver If I was being picky then I would say I dont like the plastic bits under the front bumper, in fact all of the front I can see it getting a bashing during the motorway pounding from a rep. GTI front is better looking
Don't like the look of it much- seems they've missed a trick compared to the current r32... However, don't write off the performance compared to a GTI, they'll be two very different beasts. You won't be able to put your foot to the floor half way round a greasy roundabout in a mk5 GTI, while already pushing the lateral limit for example.
Looks like the standard spec is along the lines of the GTI, except for seats and Xenons which are also standard on R32. However, Leather, Cruise, DSG and Sat nav options will push the price over 30K Thats a lot of dosh!!! Plus why do R32's always come without Front Fogs??!?!?!?
