New to scene!

Hi Mark im 21 and from somerset!

I have just joined the vdub scene buy purchasing myself a Red Golf Gti MK4 1997 ( non turbo unfortunately! ) However as my first car into the dub scene its not really a bad start!

I have got big plans for the vehicle already obviously starting with coilovers , wheels, debadged front grill, v6 front and rear splitter and exhaust.

Although seeing so many nice mk4's im still stuck on what wheels to buy? In an ideal world I would like some 18" black rims with a chrome lip. Any suggestions on what wheels to buy and where to get them from ?

welcome to the club mate, dont mind the ****ty responses, you get that sort on every forum.
theres so many wheels and suspension mods to choose from, your best bet is to cruise the site for a while, checking out peoples rides and asking questions. you can save yourself alot of money that way.

get some pics of your car up in members motors section too!

 

thanks sportline! oops not 97! yeh i got a mk4 in the real bright red and of course it came with wheels but only standard. I want to put some nice 18" on. I will browse web for a bit and see what i thinks look nice. Im quite tempted to buy some 18" rs4 wheels and get them sprayed black!

 

I'm confused... do you have a MK3, or MK4?

well heres some news! its actually 1999 .lol my bad ! anyone know where i can find 4motion rear diffuser ? i have found front splitter but cant find rear! argh

As for these 18"s, the rs4 is a popular choice, less so sprayed.

Also the wheels on your golf seraph...they look LUSH! how much they cost to get sprayed?
