Hello all, Quick thread here to introduce myself... long time motoring enthusiast with a particular fondness for VW. My daily driver is '09 Biscay Blue R36 Estate (Hong Kong import) and my second car is '97 Dragon Green 3 door manual Golf VR6 - I've been tinkering on this since I bought it in Feb '21. It was a good car to start with, but had room for improvement which I have gradually made over the last few years. It's now pretty much done with a fair few subtle OE/OEM+ mods. It was time for a new project and on a bit of an impulse... I ended up with my basket case '91 Capri Green Ryder. To say it's 'rough around the edges' would be too generous, it's simply rough! That said, it has a clean MOT and has really solid bones. It's actually ideal for what I wanted as a next project. I want to build something that is a really solid base car that 'wears its age well' aesthetically, but has a sorted drivetrain, brakes and suspension. It's had a 1.8 8v PF on Digifant swapped in with an unknown, but fairly lumpy cam. I'll start a build thread with more details... Brad
