New toy , biggish Mig

    Just got one of these from costco as my Clark 165TE seems to be a little bit tired but that's comparing it to my 400amp Mig lol

    Is it wrong to look at a photo of a new welder and think "That looks NICE" [:$]

    There's a subtle difference between my money and my companies money lol
    I got moaned at by my brother for spending a grand on a welder when I've already got 5 others :o

    It looks awesome... but it's a SIP.

    I bought a SIP MIG machine and I had to modify it extensively before I could get good results from it.

    Hopefully they've upped their build quality since though? I must admit it does look very nice and sturdy the one you've bought.

    Yes I've seen your thread :thumbup: nice job
    As its a professional machine it seems to be well built has good features like a wire feed button ,burn back etc .
    Was happy as its the latest model , the one pictured online was the previous incarnation .
    Not played with it properly yet as I had to put in some 32amp sockets for it as I only had 16 amp 3 pin or 32amp 4pin ones :p

    Really no [:s]
    Just been altering the bench in my workshop ( well my mechanic has I've been busy sat in my office [:$]) and the roof leaked and water dripped on it [:x] but hopefully it's ok :thumbup:
    Busy day tomorrow and Alton Towers on Wednesday with family and friends 15 of us [:s]
    Will report back ASAP Sir :thumbup:

    The proper size sip are normally a decent machine to be fair, its the hobby ones that are without fear of exageration absolutely ****!
