I was just sending up some pics I'd taken a couple of weeks ago of the National Hot Rods, and remembered I'd asked the driver of the 305 car if I could send some pics to the forum I've always wanted to race one of these!!
WOW... they look the part, dont they!!!! A few questions.... Are they built on a spaceframe? Are they stil a metal bodyshell? What engine do they run? Cheers
Yep all built on a space frame with fiberglass/kevelar panels, (a few cars have carbonfibre dashboards). The engine everyone runs is a Vauxhall 2.0 16v, on carbs, a few people used to run the VW lump but not anymore [:^(]
