I'm going to sort out the sloppy shift on my mk1 and I want to know all the best bits I need to buy [:D]

I know I need a linkage bush kit and I want to fit a weighted rod and quick shift kit. Does a mk3 weighted rod fit the mk1?

I already have a quick shift kit I got from Trimsport but haven't fitted it yet. It was only 15 I think which is a lot cheaper than the ones you get elsewhere but are these any good or should I buy a more expensive kit?

Are there any other bits I need to add to my shopping list?

    Cheers

I agree, I bought the full kit about a year ago for my Scirocco. Best mod I've ever done in volume of change.
