ok just got a nokia 6680....bad ass phone i have to say. im looking into this tomtom software. what do i need to look for? can someone point me in the right direction. how do i install it? is it best to get a stand alone gps reciever or just use the phone?
Right. Well you need tomtom mobile. *Cough torrent cough* Im not sure how to install it on a mobile. Ive only done it on a PDA and thats simple. As for GPS. You will need a stand alone as no mobile has GPS built in. Well not on the market yet. Yours might have GPRS but thats just internet data transfer. Completely different. Ermmm thats about it. Simple!
so the one i need is tomtom mobile......not tomtom 2, 5 etc need a gps reciever really before i do anything
bluetooth gps dongle, though you might not be able to use bluetooth hands free at the same time, I know my 3650 cant use hand free and do any other bluetooth trasmission at the same time new ones might have got round this
