Oops - just noticed! The poll is now closed (I must have set it for a week [:$] )

Well done, Leon! A cracking picture that interpreted the Urban subject really well.

Runner up - Stu - well done. A quality photo.

I've put names to pictures on the front page now (just hope I've remembered which one belongs to whom), so you can all go and find out who took what.

(And laugh at mine, 'cos it earned the booby prize.)

So - time to suggest a subject for the December competition. Please let me know and I'll start a new thread.

    Well done Leon!

Don`t ask me how, but I just knew that was yours, and that`d it win from the start.

And for the record, mine isn`t HDR, or any other fancy exposure techniques... ;)

One shot (out of my sunroof as it happens!), then a mild PS tweak (within the rules)

Yours was a great photo, Stu. No aspersions being cast, re the HDR stuff. In fact yours is a better photo for being 'au nateurel'.

Of course, I can't begin to match you, not having a sunroof ........

I voted for Stu tbh, and thought it was a better picture but then i like really moody atmospheric stuff.

I'll PM stella with the new comp theme

I like the light in yours, and graffitti is probably the definitive urban theme.

Couldn`t find any decent grafitti near me otherwise I`d have done the same.

And to answer Collie (couldn`t answer earlier obviously!); Yes, it is the Hilton in Manchester

No, it's the footy field in my village. Strange how the tele lens made the cables and structure a whole new perspective in the night photo[:s]
