Hey guys, just saying hello. I drive a MK3 1.8 GL 5 door automatic, done a few bits to it. GMAX lowering springs, 17" Wolfrace alloys, Pipercross panel filter, badgeless grill, MK4 style front lights, smoked side, rear and fog panels, 8" oval stainless backbox. Not an expert like any of you guys seem to be (read a lot before joining) and drive an auto after breaking my leg and having to drive a manual xr2i home on it before buying the Golf! Anyway, just wondering if you guys have any ideas for improving the car. I was thinking of a different engine but want to keep it an automatic. I want more power out of it basically. What do you think? Sab
Wish I had done now but I like this car so I'm thinking of getting a VR6 engine/transmission for it. What else would need changing if I did this?
