    before anything, yeah I know scrapers arent in the oil pan lol. anyone have a guide for fitting one? I was going to get one from this guy but he seems to be out of business http://www.crank-scrapers.com/VW.html

    Ive seen a lot of discussion on trays and baffling on the other engines, but none for the vr6. are they just so similar that its not worth designing a specific one for the VR?

    do those diesel windage trays fit the 12v? any other source?

    im going to start fabbing my bafles this week using the 1.75" doors from these guys;

    seems pretty straight forward but I really don't wanna muck it up and restrict too much oil from the pickup.

    I saw that one. not a fan of the alloy pan and I would prefer to keep the stock oil pump until I can piece the dry sump together.

    for now, the steel pan will be easier to baffle/reinforce. the layout of the r32 pan is interesting (esp the windage tray), ill keep it in mind.

    I read through this thread; http://www.clubgti.com/showthread.php?198409-Baffling-a-steel-sump

    loads of good ideas and I have a rough idea on what im going to do. I think the only major confusion I have is how to baffle around the pump without separating the pump from the oil return.

    still would be nice to have an off the shelf windage or scraper option
